Why Lug Nut Seat Type Matters

Not all lug nuts fit all wheels. The seat type — the angle where the lug nut contacts the wheel — must match your wheel's lug seat. These lug nuts use a 60-degree acorn (conical) taper seat, which is the most common seat type on aftermarket lug-centric wheels. Hub-centric wheels use a flat or ball seat and are not compatible. Before ordering, confirm your wheel uses a 60-degree conical seat and that your studs are 3/8-24 thread pitch. Polaris has used both 3/8-24 SAE and metric thread pitches across different model years, so measuring your existing studs is the safest way to confirm fitment. Do not use an impact gun on these lug nuts — hand-tighten or use a torque wrench to avoid damaging the finish.
